The spacious house can accommodate 2-8 people. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, a newly designed, fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and all new appliances, a lovely parlor, a separate dining room and a laundry room on the second floor. The house is winterized and there is oil-based electric heat. Filled with tasteful furnishings, the local Maine antiques in every room add a touch of elegance and historic charm. The house is roomy, light, and comfortable. It is used by its California owners year-round.

The house sits on two acres of land. The large lawn is perfect for a summer game of croquet. There is a picnic table, outdoor furniture, and a charcoal grill. The double front porches provide the perfect spot to catch the late afternoon sun or to watch the tidal flow on the Benjamin River.

It's a short walk to the old-fashioned Sedgwick General Store, the Sedgwick Library, the local post office, and Sedgwick Antiques. The charming town of Blue Hill is an eight-mile drive north. Acadia National Park and Bangor International Airport are an hour away.
